Faculty
The faculty of St. Francis Episcopal School is dedicated
to the teaching and nurturing of our young students. The
teachers maintain close communication between the school
and our student's families. Parent-Teacher conferences
are scheduled during the year and are available upon request.
Parent Organization
All parents of St. Francis students are invited to join
the parents organization. Parents play a very active role
in the life of the school. Parent volunteers participate
in computer lab classes, field trips and other enrichment
programs.

History of St. Francis Episcopal School
The St. Francis Episcopal School is a member of the Southeast
Association of Episcopal Schools in the Diocese Of Texas. The
school is licensed by and meets the necessary requirements of
the Department of Human Resources.
The intention of St. Francis School has existed since its outset
- indeed even while the present church facilities were being
planned - to be a community school offering a preparatory background
for young children anticipating entrance into area schools.
Dr. and Mrs. Compton Broders, The Rev. Robert Bonner and members
of the building committee and Bishops committee conceived the
plan of the school in 1969. The school opened upon completion
of construction of this building in 1971. |
